Brexit Update: Legal Implications
June 2016
The tumultuous decision of the UK to leave the EU will have very significant consequences, the extent of which will only become clear over time.  The UK vote will not immediately alter the legal relationship between the UK and the EU. Disentangling the UK legal system from the EU in the coming years will create gaps which will need to be filled with replacement rules and regulations, many of which may have implications for Irish businesses. Businesses need to start considering the legal consequences for their operations and to plan for the post-Brexit future.
In this page we include articles setting out the likely impacts and changes under various headings, as well as articles of interest to businesses considering a move to Ireland.
