Elaine is an associate in the healthcare unit. Elaine acts on behalf of hospitals, the former health boards and pharmacies under both public and employer liability insurance policies. Elaine specialises in defence litigation with particular emphasis on infection control and hospital acquired infections.

   

She has successfully brought a number of delay and prejudice applications before the High Court and has defended significant cardiology cases. Elaine has a specialist interest in Ward of Court applications and works with Aisling and the team in providing the 24 hour on call telephone assistance to our clients.
