Imelda is a partner and from 2001 to 2008, Imelda served as Beauchamps Solicitors Managing Partner.

Imelda is one of Ireland's leading franchise law experts and has been recognised as such in the International Who's Who of Franchise Lawyers for a number of years.
Imelda was also a member of the Business Regulation Forum, which reported to the Government with recommended steps to reduce the cost and administrative burden of regulation on business. In June 2008, Imelda was appointed by the Minister for Education & Science to serve on the Governing Body of the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Imelda has been a member of the Council of Dublin Chamber of Commerce since 2001. In February 2009 she was elected Deputy Vice - President, and will therefore become President of Dublin Chamber of Commerce in 2011. Imelda is presently leading a task force which is undertaking a corporate governance review of the Chamber.
