John recently returned to Beauchamps after spending five years as Head of Legal Services and injury claims manager of one of Ireland's largest P&C insurers. He has great experience in managing catastrophic injury and complex claims and in advising on claims management and claims avoidance strategies. He has designed and implemented new claims handling processes for large, medium value and attritional injury claims. He and his team provide a full claims handling service from notification of the claim to its conclusion. John also has extensive experience in defending medical malpractice claims and in advising healthcare organisations on clinical risk, clinical governance and medico-legal matters.

 

John sits on the Litigation Committee of the Law Society of Ireland and is admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland.

John has been recommended in international legal directories for his work, including Legal 500 Directory 2012 where he was ranked in Insurance.
