We are collaborating with RSK Ireland and CBRE to deliver a breakfast briefing on regenerating brownfield sites in Ireland.

The briefing, which takes place at the Beauchamps offices on 23 March 2017 (7.30am - 9.30pm), focuses on brownfield development in Ireland.

Theme: re-developing brownfield sites in Ireland

There are currently a significant number of brownfield sites throughout Ireland with excellent redevelopment potential. In our experience, the environmental risks and associated costs of remediating these brownfield sites are often not investigated during the pre-acquisition due diligence.

This can lead to additional unforeseen costs that may cause delays and lead to uneconomic projects. Our view is that the environmental risks and potential costs should be assessed during the due diligence period to enable developers and funders to calculate investment returns accurately and successfully redevelop brownfield sites.

Who would benefit from attending this event?

This briefing, which is free to attend, aims to support investors, financiers, buyers and sellers with advice and practical cost-effective solutions regarding their current assets and future transactions. It is relevant to housing associations, commercial organisations, construction companies, developers, planners, architects, quantity surveyors, property portfolio managers and financiers.

For more information on the itinerary and speakers, please download the event brochure here.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Hannah Church in our Events team.
