Beauchamps’ hosts event ahead of Charity Trustees’ Week 2019 focused on the key issues and updates in the charity and not-for-profits sector.

On 6 November 2019, Beauchamps held an event for the charities and not for profit sector with special guests Liz Hughes, CEO of Charities Institute Ireland, Myles Kirby, Managing Partner of Kirby Healy Chartered Accountants and Eamon O'Halloran, Head of Registration and Projects, Charities Regulator.

The event, which was led by Claire Callanan, Consultant and Mark Pery-Knox-Gore, Partner in Beauchamps, provided guests with an in depth update on the latest developments in the charities and not-for-profit sector to engage on the latest developments in the sector. With many new codes and schemes being introduced to the sector in an attempt to safeguard its future, issues can still arise once they are implemented. At the event, our panel of speakers discussed how organisations can navigate through these challenges. 

The event was attended by a wide range of representatives from the sector including health, social housing, youth development and support, education, and suicide and bereavement.
