We are currently seeking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor at Senior Associate level to join our highly regarded corporate team, specialising in a broad range of corporate transactional work. The team has a truly diverse range of clients across various sectors. We are looking for someone to assist with a portfolio of client transactions and projects, working with and reporting to partners within the corporate department.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide range of corporate transactions with a diverse client base. The position will involve a broad range of responsibilities, including:
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements and ancillary documents;
- Drafting of intragroup transfer and lending agreements and ancillary documents;
- Company law advice;
- Contract review;
- A willingness to attend networking and marketing events, when required; and
- Other ad-hoc work as required within the team.
Required Experience:
- Corporate transactional experience;
- Company law expertise;
- Knowledge of drafting and negotiation of corporate documents including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements and disclosure letters;
- Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team;
- Ability to manage competing demands of a range of clients;
- Excellent technical and drafting skills, with attention to detail; and
- A proactive, measured and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be 5+ years qualified, with work experience in the relevant areas. He or she should be enthusiastic and highly motivated with strong organisational and interpersonal skills and an excellent work ethic.
