Commercial Real Estate Associate

We are currently seeking to recruit a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor at Associate level to join our highly regarded market leading Commercial Real Estate team. The team has a truly diverse range of clients across all sectors. We are looking for someone to assist with a portfolio of client transactions and projects, working with our large CRE team, liaising with our planning, infrastructural and energy teams and ultimately reporting to the partners within the CRE team.

The position will involve a broad range of responsibilities including:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquisitions
  • Disposals/sales
  • Landlord & Tenant Law – both advisory acting for major landlords and tenants across all sectors
  • Working with the Development Finance Team and providing banking support
  • Working with the Corporate Team and providing corporate support
  • General property related work as required within the CRE team

Required Experience:

  • Comfortable with all stages of CRE transactions
  • Understanding of banking and security transactions and requirements
  • Exposure to related security documentation
  • Excellent drafting skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Strong commercial focus and business acumen required
  • A sociable person, capable of communicating at all levels with an ability to communicate points clearly in a non-confrontational manner
  • A calm and measured approach to problem solving

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be 3+ years qualified, with work experience in the relevant areas. He or she should be enthusiastic; highly motivated with strong organisational interpersonal skills; comfortable with all stages of all CRE transactions; understanding banking and security transactions and requirements and an excellent work ethic. Hardworking and energy is a prerequisite.
