About Róisín 

Róisín is an Associate on the Employment & Benefits team. 

Róisín provides practical, commercial, and strategic advice to domestic and international clients on all aspects of the employment relationship including both non-contentious and contentious matters. She advises on matters in the Workplace Relations Commission ("WRC"), Labour Court, and the civil courts. 

Particular areas of interest include collective redundancies, disciplinary and workplace investigations, and WRC claims. 

Prior to joining Beauchamps, Róisín worked with the employment team of an international law firm. 

Recent Experience 

  • Advised public sector clients on Equal Status claims before the WRC. 
  • Advised various multinational companies on their establishment in Ireland including preparation of employment contracts, policies and handbooks and advising on employment obligations including working time queries, employee complaints procedures, disciplinary procedures and protected disclosure obligations. 
  • Advised employers on both collective and individual redundancies including adopting fair selection criteria, the appointment of employee representatives, and the identification of suitable alternative roles.
  • Advised on civil court matters including a Circuit Court interim order for relief for alleged penalisation and two High Court injunctions. 
  • Negotiated exit agreements.
