Ciara is Head of the firm's Insurance, Dispute Resolution practice and is a recognised expert in insurance dispute resolution, in particular professional indemnity litigation. She is a go-to advisor for opinions on coverage, liability and quantum, navigating complex negligence actions, with multiple parties and differing professions, with ease. Ciara's experience in this area enables her to drill down into the core issues and negotiate successful outcomes for insurer and insured. Ciara also acts for both insurers and insureds in arbitrations of coverage disputes.
Ciara is known for excellent and incisive case analysis and is acknowledged to have an excellent ability to manages litigation to timely and cost-effective resolutions.
Ciara also has extensive experience in acting for insurers and self-insureds in defending personal injury, product liability and employer’s liability claims.
In addition to her insurance practice, Ciara also specialises in financial services litigation with extensive experience representing banks, financial institutions, and other businesses within the financial services sector.
