Beauchamps is proud to have advised the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) on the landmark transfer of its social housing vehicle, National Asset Residential Property Services DAC (NARPS) to the Land Development Agency (LDA).
The significant disposal by NAMA was effected by the distribution in specie of its shares in NARPS to the LDA pursuant to ministerial directions and involved the transfer to the LDA of a portfolio of residential real estate assets comprising 1,366 homes across leases to approved housing bodies and local authorities.
Our work on this complex disposal involved a cross-departmental team led by Commercial Real Estate Partner, Maitiú Ó Dónaill. Our deal team also included: Fidelma McManus, Partner and Head of Housing; Thérèse Ryan, Associate, Housing and Commercial Real Estate; Shaun O’Shea, Partner and Head of Corporate, Commercial and M&A; Yvonne O’Byrne, Partner, Corporate, Commercial and M&A; Inza Dauharry, Legal Practitioner, Corporate, Commercial and M&A; Orla Donohoe, Solicitor, Corporate, Commercial and M&A.
